Our out of hours service is provided by our team of dedicated equine vets who are fully trained to deal with equine emergencies.
We usually attend to the horse at home and many emergency situations respond rapidly to treatment.
There are some scenarios where we may need to admit your horse for further treatment to our inpatient facilities. These scenarios include severe wounds, horses requiring fluids etc.
During working hours, all telephone calls go to our reception desk and are passed to the Equine Veterinary Team. Out of hours, you will be asked to select what service you require and will be passed to the relevant on call vet.
Please always make sure you have clear directions available to where
your horse is kept. It can be useful to have our contact details and your
livery yard post code on a sheet on your horses stable door in case of
emergency. Also have your contact details on this sheet in case you are not
there when your horse falls ill.

If you have any concerns about your horses health we are always happy to give advice and guidance over the phone if a visit is not needed.
Our equine vets can often be seen out and about at local events providing onsite veterinary cover. These range from horse trials to trotting and local agricultural shows. If you are looking for cover at your event please speak to one of the equine team.
