We work closely with specialists at several equine hospitals to get advice on complex cases, including Gemma Pearson at the University of Edinburgh to consult on behaviour cases. We can also refer cases that are beyond our scope of practice to local specialists such as Veterinary Vision, or to hospitals for intensive care and/or surgery. In addition to this, we have a good relationship with James Roxburgh at the Equine Veterinary Dentist who visits our clinic typically once a month to perform dental extractions, fillings and more complex procedures.
